JASMINE RICE
Cooking Directions on the Stove: In a saucepan bring water to a boil (Cooking Measurement Chart: For drier rice, use 1/4 cup less water. For moister rice, use 1/4 cup more water. Rice; Water; Makes; Servings(3/4 Cup Cooked):1, 2 1/4, 3 cups, 4. 2 cups, 4 1/2 cups, 6 cups, 8. 3 cups, 6 3/4 cups, 9 cups, 12.). 2. Stir in rice. (Add 1 Tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired.). 3. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes or until all water is absorbed. Cooking times are approximate.): In a 2 quart microwave-safe dish combine 1-3/4cups water and 1 cup rice. (Add 1 Tbsp butter and 1 tsp salt per cup of uncooked rice, if desired.) 2. Cover and microwave on high for 5 minutes. Reduce settings to 50% power, microwave for 10 mins. Let stand for 5 mins.
