Microwave Instructions: For 6 Tamales: Microwave in a deep dish with 1/2 inch of water for 16-17 minutes (internal temperature 165 degrees F/73 degrees C). For 2 Tamales: Microwave in a deep dish with 1/2 inch of water for 8-9 minutes (internal temperature 165 degrees F/73 degrees C). Steaming Instructions: In large saucepan over medium-high heat, bring 1 inch water to boil. Insert steamer basket, making sure bottom of basket does not touch water. Remove frozen tamales from bag transfer to steamer basket. Reduce heat to medium low. Steam, covered until tamales are heated through (internal temperature of 165 degrees F), 25-30 minutes.
Keep frozen.
